Are you feeling frumpy, old, and tired?
Is the meaning of “getting old ain’t for the faint of heart” starting to pack some serious punch?
It’s not just about getting older; it’s getting older combined with everything else: Weight gain. Fatigue. Hormonal swings. Poor sleep. Depression. Aging skin. It’s starting to get the better of you! Chronic issues may have already been getting the better of you. Maybe you’re noticing more and more unfavorable symptoms as you age. Maybe you’ve recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure or diabetes and you need to stop the train right there.
You are not alone!
Like you, I’ve had my own health concerns. Mine began after a prolonged ruptured appendix in my teens which ultimately led to longstanding gastrointestinal and inflammation issues. Luckily, with targeted testing, life balance, careful diet, and focused supplements I have been able to substantially improve my health and well-being while controlling symptoms.
I’ve practiced in the health care arena for over 30 years; starting at age 14 as an aide, in the military as a medic & an intensive care nurse, and for the past 23 years as an advanced practice nurse. My experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care inspired me to seek advanced specialty education with the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine as well as the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine by WorldLink Medical.
Although 30 years of experience may seem like a long time, in our evolutionary history it is negligible. However, in just this short time frame it is clear that our population health is deteriorating substantially. Our current young people are predicted to be the first generation with shorter lifespans than their parents. Obesity, hypertension, and diabetes are increasing at exponential rates. We are exposed to multiple toxins in our everyday environment. Modern medicine doesn’t have the answers to stop this cascade, only to assist in treating the symptoms.
Here is where my passion lies: find the root cause, stop the cascade, and help clients regain and maintain their health and sense of well-being.
I would love to help you too.
Some symptoms won’t improve on their own. Some symptoms may become debilitating. There is no better time to take control of your future than right now.
Functional health, also known as investigational health, focuses on discovering and treating the root cause(s) of your symptoms. My expertise may uncover causes that have long been hidden, and likely never even suspected.
This is not a fad or gimmick medicine. Prepare yourself as we take a deep dive into what ails you. We will utilize proven diagnostics and established treatment protocols to aid your journey back to health.
I love helping clients live well. There is hope for a future of feeling better. Life is Short, Live Strong!
